Boinc Manager can shutdown the remote client it's connected to. It would be nice if Boinctasks could also do this, at the moment it will only shut down the local one.
That's because the BOINC Client doesn't allow a shutdown, as far as I can remember.
I can do it with access to the Boinc manager on the remote computer (i.e. being at that computer, or using a remote desktop to get to its boinc manager). Are you saying that the boinc client doesn't have this function for the remote access? If so I'll ask over there.

Unless they added it recently it's not in the BOINC Client for remote access.
