I was just wondering why we cannot have filters for projects tab also based on account,Computer,Project,Status,Venue etc.This will make life a more easier and will be less intensive on resources when using many computers or projects etc.

At the moment you can can select a computer from the sidebar. This will show only the selected computers.
A filter will not speed things up or use less resources, it may remove some things you don't want to see.
I personally don't see what a filter would add.
