Hello,
I searched successfully for my second PC but the box to add keeps grey highlighted.
So I cannot add.
Any idea why?
Kind regards
Charlyms

You mean "Find Computers"?
There has to be a Yes in the BOINC or the TThrottle column.
If there isn't any Yes, check the logging in BOINC on the remote computer.
Look for any refused messages.

Probably something wrong with the access file "remote_hosts.cfg".

Hello,
sorry, I forgot: I try to add a PC with WIN 7. The main PC has WIN XP.
I tried many configurations and got the same result as before.
What can be wrong with the gui_rpc_auth.cfg?
I get no  display for the temperature sequence. What can be wrong?
Kind regards

If you tell me step for step what you have done and see.
For the temperature you need to install TThrottle.

I have success right now.
My remote_hosts.cfg-file was wrong, because I added the IP from my remote-pc not the host-pc
I also changed some firewall-settings. But I don´t know if this was responsible finally.

Sorry, now I "lost" my remote PC again. Maybe the reson is my dynamical IP?
Is it possible to set a range of IP´s in the remote_hosts.cfg?

I don't think you can set up a range.
But you can add a couple of them, the dynamic IP's are normally quite predictable.

But you are asking for trouble, when you use dynamic IP's.
Better set a static IP for the computer.
