Title: How to add client built from source in /home/username/boinc
Post by: NginUS on June 10, 2015, 12:32:30 AM
I have boinc client built in /home/username/boinc, & I don't know where to put gui_rpc_auth.cfg & remote_hosts.cfg.

I tried /home/username/boinjc/client, but it wouldn't connect when I added the computer manually to BOINC Tasks. Plus, it wouldn't find the computer when I scanned the address range.

Please help.

Thanks,
-N

BOINCTasks runs on Windows 7, 2 clients are on Win7 boxes, the one I can't add is Lunar Linux, a source based distro. & teh one that I can't delete was an Ubuntu 14.04 box thats been destroyed.

Sorry for not mentioning it, thanks for your reply.

Maybe you should ask on the BOINC forum, as this is BOINC client related.
