Quote from: wicked on April 01, 2010, 03:05:35 PMThe Task column in projects is linked to the history tab. History should be enabled for this to work.
Hi,
Upgraded to 0.47 this other day. Now the new Tasks column in Projects tab is blank. Also, I get a persistent crash whenever I try to go to Transfers tab. Here's the details for the crash (I have an User Mini Dump File collected by WER that I can send if you want to look over it yourself):
Quote from: glennaxl on March 29, 2010, 04:13:51 PM1 Added to the list.
1st:
Task -> Status: It doesn't show waiting for memory but instead it will show waiting to run.
2nd:
History: If you change the computer name, it will create a new file (by design as stated in the FAQ), thus losing your history. Can it be made that the history stayed intact after rename?
Quote from: jjwhalen on March 29, 2010, 12:11:31 AMGreat, because it's a bet harder for me to test.
Regarding:Quote(Fixed) Some projects with low CPU use the CPU% was not correct. (FreeHAL, v0.46 PrimeGrid's AP26 Search (cuda23) v1.01)
I can confirm that with Primegrid's AP26 Search (cuda23) v1.01, BT 0.47 does indeed show CPU % during the run in the range 0.05x~0.07x% There is still no () CPU time in the ET field. But that's understandable since you appear to be set up to display time as xxd,HH:MM:SS, and not fractions of a second. This is also consistent with BOINCManager, which doesn't display fractional CPU time either. They probably never thought it would be necessary.
Once again Fred, thanks for the attention to detail (and while on vacation to boot)
Quote from: PinQuin on March 28, 2010, 12:07:45 PMOk done.
The final for the next version: BoincTasks_DEU.btlang_v0.46_v0.1. (changed line 514 [Bugfix], and 590)
Thanks also to aendgraend and Saenger.
Note: The webspace will be deleted by the provider at the end of month.
Quote from: Manneysoft on March 27, 2010, 12:26:40 PMRemove: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\eFMer So remove the eFMer folder completely.
where does this save its settings? i want to completly remove it and reinstall it then try what u told me.
because nothing seems to be happening, i tried on my other computer and the first time you install it work for the installed computer. then when you go to add another computer it stop working.
i tried unstalling it useing windows add or remove, but my settings were all still there. i'm useing windows vista 64 bit.
and another problem was, see how the xml file it was trying to access was on the drive c, i have two operating systems on this computer windows xp and windows vista. the local drive for xp is c, but the local drive for vista is G:\. i installed bonic task on my vista os, the local drive for the boinc tasks should be G:\ just to let you know. but i do have access to both drives no matter what OS i'm useing.
Quote from: glennaxl on March 26, 2010, 02:15:03 PMWhat OS?Quote from: fred on March 26, 2010, 05:31:01 AMThis setting Must not contain space; If path has space, then it needs to be in 8.3 format. eg. Program files -> Progra~1
You can add an alternative existing folder in the extra->BoincTasks settings -> expert and check "override default (xml) folder"
It doesn't work for me if it has space(s).
Quote from: Manneysoft on March 25, 2010, 11:37:22 PMHmm, for some reason that folder isn't there.
hi
i do get this msg.
"Unable to write to xml file, c:\documents and settings/manney/Aplication data/eFMer/BoincTasks/computers.xmlLook in help->Show Log for more details."
Thanks
Quote from: glennaxl on March 25, 2010, 07:07:33 PMI made a note in the todo for some additional checking. But these things are hard to find when they are not consistent.
Event ID is the same as I've posted here: http://www.efmer.eu/forum_tt/index.php?topic=296.0
Quote from: glennaxl on March 25, 2010, 07:04:16 PMI'm using the same version right now.
I know that you don't support unreleased BOINC versions but it was in 6.10.36 that has been removed (from prod) and I don't see the feature being remove in future versions.
Its under -> While processor usage is less than blank percent. (0 means no restriction)
Or if its not added, BoincTasks should not re-write everything on global_prefs_override.xml but rather read its elements and values then what ever is changed on the BoincTasks GUI will be applied then write the file. Thus, it will not removed any elements that are currently not present with BoincTasks.
Quote from: Manneysoft on March 25, 2010, 10:19:48 AMIf find doesn't set a check (v) that indicated it found BOINC or TThrottle you can't check the computer.
Hi
i'm new here, i downloaded boinc task. and installed. after opening for the first time it worked for a few seconds for my local computer i.e the computer it was installed on. but then now i cant get anything to work.
when i go to find computers, i find all 3 of my computers but when i check the box to select the computer, it unchecks it self as soon as i check it. this is realy frustrating. someone please help me.
Is it possiable that my norton is blocking the programme? also how do i find the port which my bonic client works on?
Thanks

Hi,
I just noticed that BoincTask64 had crashed when the computer automatically returned from sleep this morning.
Maybe this event information helps you track down the reason and possibly fix something in the code.Quote
