What background are we talking about?
Background of every BT tab - Computers/Projects/Tasks and so on (now is the same color as in Windows settings - default it's white).
But without changing theme in the system...

So you want an option to change all the background colors? :o
Yeah - only one option which will change this shiny white colour to black ;)

OK now I get it, shouldn't be any problem to implement.
Actually it is already in 1.57. :o
But the tabs should already be OK, what theme are you using.
Some themes use gray for the dialog color and black for the background. The tabs are a sort of dialog.
I tried high contrast 1 and everything turns black except the row background.
