Title: Slovak translation
Post by: Pepo on October 15, 2009, 01:15:05 PM
At some point in time I'd like to make a Slovak translation.

It should be also understandable for most Czech users, or a good starting point to create their native translation. (I could also create a rough Czech translation in paralell, but I do not intend to be laughed out ;D.)

http://www.efmer.eu/download/boinc/test/setup_tthrottle_1_7_0.exe (http://www.efmer.eu/download/boinc/test/setup_tthrottle_1_7_0.exe) This is the RC install.
http://www.efmer.eu/download/boinc/test/TThrottle_SKY.rar (http://www.efmer.eu/download/boinc/test/TThrottle_SKY.rar)  And this is everything you need to build the language dll.

http://www.efmer.eu/download/boinc/test/TThrottle_SKY.rar (http://www.efmer.eu/download/boinc/test/TThrottle_SKY.rar)  And this is everything you need to build the language dll.
The .vcproj file errorneously contains non-existing RelativePath="..\TThrottle\res\eFMerCpu.ico" and RelativePath="..\TThrottle\res\idr_hand_link.ico" in addition to the valid RelativePath=".\res\eFMerCpu.ico" and RelativePath=".\res\idr_hand_link.ico".
Also, the Culture="1036" is there a couple of times (instead of Culture="1051"), meaning the Throttle_SKY.rc's Culture is sometimes set to "French (France) (0x40c)" (instead of "Slovak (0x41b)"), in addition to some French remainders in .\x64\Release folder). All this was probably not intended, but does not hurt ;)

The graph also displays an untranslated "Please wait, not enough data yet" - you know where and why  :P

Bsides this, the resource dlls build just fine and play nicely with the 1.70 application.

This build is part of a larger build that includes all dll's.
The language part is not used at all, and I always copy a new one from an old one. This time the French one. ;D
The wait text is probably not in the resource, oeps.

There are 2-3 new English strings in the app, let's make an update? Or do you have some more coding ideas to finish first?

Hard to find.... any list? ;)

This Processor has (4) 2 Cores with a temperature sensor.^Tento procesor má 1 jadro / 2-4 jadrá / 5+ jadier ::) s teplotným senzorom. (Well, I guess that nowadays a pretty common number of physical cores with a temp sensor will be 2 or 3 or 4, so "jadrá".)

V 3.40:
"Connected with BOINC client" - still remains untranslated (to "Spojený s BOINC klientom") in the BOINC tab's log area. The checkbox below is fine.
Rules tab contains "tthrottle" as a rule - should have been just "throttle"?
"Enable BoincTasks^Povoliť BoincTasks" on Preferences tab.

Two more strings for 3.40:

"First time processor check^Prvá kontrola procesora"
"Now checking, the number of processor core temperature sensors.\nThis may take a couple of minutes to complete.^Teraz kontrolujem počet teplotných senzorov jadier procesora.\nMôže to trvať zopár minút do ukončenia."

The weather is really nice this time of year, just above 20 C and plenty of sunshine and nice flowers.
Different elevations, so you can pick the right temperature, because is can get close to 30 C occasionally, even in March.

By the way this text is translatable.
Excellent, I just need to know!

Already there!! Just a typo in 3.51: the second TJunction is missing trailing 'n':
Quote from: TTh 3.51 logTJunction prečítaná z CPU: 90  °C, použitá TJunctio: 90  °C

BTW, Fred, I'd like to ask you for favor: When there is an option to use subscripts, "TJunction" is just optimal. But when it is not possible (in logs), "TJunction" with capital "J" looks weird IMHO. "Tjunction" with a lowercase "j" (as you use it in dialogs and buttons) is then a good compromise. Could you please also in logs? (Sorry for my paranoia ::))

True, especially the new idle prefs. (6e -> 6th?)

Preferences tab:
"Password" - "Heslo"
"Show" - "Zobraziť"
"HotKey" - "HotKey"  (BTW what does the key trigger? I could not notice anything.)
"None" - "Žiaden" (there is "Žiadny" now)

"If the computer is not used for" - "Ak počítač nie je používaný"
"Seconds" - "sekúnd"
"Left" - "ostáva"

"Use these temperatures" - "Použiť tieto teploty"
"Core" - "Jadro"
"Gpu" - "Gpu"

Expert tab:
"Recalibrate" - "Kalibrovať"

Log:
"active" - "aktívny" (Driver regulator:)

Large temp Graph"
"3 hours " - "3 hodiny" (now it is "3 hodín")

BTW, I've not found the TTh process around - crashed over weekend. Any preferred flags to set?

6e, wrong language.
The hotkey toggles the mini window.
none is a Windows message, not from TThrottle.
There is no debug flag in TThrottle.

Initially the "Ak počítač nie je používaný" translation was displayed twice, in 5.44.
It gets funny now (sorry for my amusement) :P
"If the computer is not used for" and "Use these temperatures" lines got the other one's translations, switched, in 5.45.

"Ak počítač nie je používaný" should be the upper line with time+countdown,
"Použiť tieto teploty" is the lower line with temperatures.

Is already fine in 5.50 8)

What about adding a trailing colon to the temperature line? Both "Use these temperatures:" / "Použiť tieto teploty:" seem for me as an appropriate use for it.

(BTW, curious, on a machine with multiple GPUs, are more GPU lines there? (As the cards would probably reach different target temperatures.))

The Slovak TT 7.14 language file (http://www.efmer.com/guest/slovak/TThrottle_SKY-7.14.ttlang) is in the upload area.

A few enhancements and complaints:

    1
    • I've noticed, that on the Programs tab, the left Temperature section is too narrow and my "Set core" and "Set GPU" strings (the second words) are clipped already for years  ::) It could also help to make the Set GPU's editbox much narrower (the same like the other three ones above) and shift the texts to the lefy by some 1 centimeter, to match their offsets from the editboxes with those of the percentage strings.
    2
    • The <Fahrenheit> would need some place for 2-3 more characters
    3
    • The <ShowAll> string is also clipped a bit - 2 characters more place...
    4
    • Graph tab, the button for the second scalable graph has the "2" attached at "Graph" without a space in between ("Scalable Graph2" instead of "Scalable Graph 2").
    5
    • Expert: on "Days graph buffer. (requires restarting TThrottle)" the dot (period) would suit better at the end (behind the closing parenthesis).
    6
    • In the About window, there is a link http://www.efmer.eu at the bottom left corner. When hovering mouse cursor above it, a hand icon appears, but its hot spot is set incorrectly (I assume it should have been at the finger tip).
1) Made wider. The GPU box can hold more than one GPU temperature to set different temps for the GPU;s
2) Done
3) Done
4) Done
5) Done
6) Done, somewhat, the active areas is in the middle and the finger points above it. But I made the square a bit higher on the bottom.
