Look here http://efmer.com/b/boinctasks_settings#view (http://efmer.com/b/boinctasks_settings#view) If you don't like it you can remove the check at "Adjust time to BOINC client run time"
Thanks. It helped.

I guess that is a problem of new windows 10 because in Advices tab I see most of the text in runic alphabet (of course is one font that I have installed but not yet able to speak / write in runic).
it is from the o.s. because it happens in some parts of live mail, outlook mail, edge explorer.
any clue about it??
I´ll send you a screen-shot with the fix. :'(

Spanish looks OK on my computer.
Show me a screenshot.
In the control panel go to Languages and select Change, date, time (last item)
Select the last tab.
Change system locale.
Should be Spanish.
everything you state in the message checked that is in Spanish.
but still shown in runic.
already sent to your email screen-shots, I guess that it's from the o.s. because all computers I have installed this font have the same issue.

Only the Notices tab?
Close BoincTasks and remove the 2 files: notices.xml and notices.html
C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\eFMer\BoincTasks
notices.xml
C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\eFMer\BoincTasks\html
notices.html
Start BoincTasks and send me the new files notices.xml and notices.html.
done yours below and sent pm to your address

Strange everything looks just fine and there are certainly plenty of bugs in W10.
The display is handled by the IE browser, but what browser as we now have 2 Microsoft browsers on W10.
What is your default browser?
yes, lookslike that I´m using edge.

I can't reproduce it after setting the computer to Spanish.
Did you install anything special like language packs or fonts.
Looks like the the system chooses the wrong font.

Send you a notices.html with:
<style>
body {
font-family:verdana;
}
</style>
added to force another font.
