Title: problem stay logged in
Post by: Chris Skull on August 20, 2015, 10:01:57 AM
Hello Fred,

nice you find a server  :D
First day i had no problems with cloud service.
But now every time after some hours tasks desktop falls logged out and do not re connect.
I have to shut down tasks and start-up again, logging in successful... some hours later its logged out again.
What can i do ?
I use 1.67 on Win 7.

Greetz
Chris

Whenever this happens check the BoincTasks Cloud tab and see if it shows connected.
Try closing the browser and start it again.
Next try to log in with another browser like chrome or firefox, but only one at a time.
To check if the problem is in BoincTasks or on the other side.

Next time you see it give me the exact error message.

And next remove the check at "Cloud enable" wait 5 seconds and check it again, see if it reconnects.

Yes it reconnects, that what i do every day i came home ....

If i try to login the cloud via browser there is no error massage... i log in, it loads for some seconds and than fall back in login screen...
( earlier it works perfect... but after some hours the desktop loses log in )

Maybe the server is down, it's not up 100%.

Goto Show->Log and check "Enable debug mode".
Click on "Debug setup".
Check "cloud" and close

OK What I see is login failed, without any message, so no timeout.  :-\
This may be caused by the firewall blocking the connection, I will try to find out what could cause this.

I did, 1.69.2 (169 Beta) should work without any problems. I could replicate the problem, so it should be fixed.

The properties of the .exe should show 1.69.2, you got a pre release exe.
