Title: 2 NVidia GPU Cards with different temps have same throttle applied
Post by: archeye on July 17, 2019, 06:42:52 AM
Hi,
I believe my configuration is correct but the same throttle value is applied to both my GPU cards even though the temperatures are different. I was expecting the throttle values to be independent as in TThrottle I identified 2 cards by input of the 2 temperatures and it recognises the workload on both of them separately. See images.

Is there something I missed in the setup? Thanks.

It should do that, it gives the running % of each card.
As it can't throttle the actual GPU it slows down the feeder CPU process.

To match the temps you might want to look at overclock to adjust the fan speed with the temperature.

The cards are in close proximity and effect each other as one sucks in the air from the other card.

Thanks Fred, I understand better now :)
