Hello all I've recently had a couple of crashes on some instances i have config files on ,I noticed windows just did an update before the crashes and made all the files hidden in the property page, Could this cause it ?

It's not unusual for an update to cause a problem.
A full shutdown and restart should solve any problems.
Hidden might not be a problem, just a setting to remove things an average user doesn't want to see.
But you didn't tell what crashed.
