Hello
I can see there is a new version "BoincTasks Js runs native on Linux, Mac and Windows", JOY !! no more wine and all its blocking and freezing ! (I've been using for many years on different macs)
But when I go to its download page (https://efmer.com/boinctasks-js/boinctasks-js-download/) it only mentions an ubuntu version (a .deb file) and a windows version (more recent !), nothing about any mac version ?

I've been using it since more than 3 days now and I'm very happy with it. Obviously we miss many features of the "full version" of BT which is SO complete, with so many parameters, especially the possibility to filter by project in the history (the task history is one of the main feature that made me use BT under wine for so many years, despite of a very relative stability, force to regularly kill / restart because of various bugs / freezes). But then I realized I can sort by clicking on (some) of the column titles, so I could find what I was looking for :)
Talking about bugs I think I found one :

The fact that you remember about this test now does mean you are going to handle, or I need to report it on github ?

What is "Added: REC column in projects." ?
Also I have noticed in the Transfer tab in the Project column it is actually showing the name of File, duplicated, instead of the project name.

sorry I had not seen your answer and have been busy with other things, i just saw you release 1.18 so I installed it : the boinc still are empty and none of the setting I have from BM appear.
Another small but annoying issue : when you set the column size with View / Adjust column width, then when you unselect the option (to be able to sort again by clicking on the column header) the size settings you just did are lost and a previous setting is coming back.

It looks as if the app didn't get permission to read and write files.
Did you install in applications?
Go to Show -> Debug Log and copy what's in the log, I like to see the folder that's used.
Check Error log to see if there are any errors.
To install I drag&drop to my application folder.

I do find this "/Users/jerome/Library/Application Support" folder in my mac, I have read/write access in all files and sub-directories in that directory.
Error log only contains "BoincTasks Js, V 1.18" and that's all.
That looks just fine.
Settings are stored in /Users/jerome/BoincTasks Js/settings
So what do you mean, "it should work" ?
I just tried again :
- set View / Adjust column width ON
- change column size until I like it
- change computer in the list : size is not lost
- set View / Adjust column width OFF (*) : size is lost immediately, the previous layout is applied back
(*) because I want to change the sort order

That looks just fine. As in noting crashes.
I need to rewrite the resizing, I will add it to my list. Not for the upcoming version, but probably soon.

That's weird, I thought I had answered "much better !" and then you had answered something like "thanks for letting know" and then both messages disappeared and the last message is yours 12/02/2021 saying "should be fixed with 1.20"...
Anyway it is fixed and working much better, I want to let you know that in the project tab the sort are working except the sort by status that is not sorting by status, it is a mysterious sort, I have no idea on what data it gets sorted... but not the status. (but sorting on other columns does work)

The boinc settings window is still displaying a windows with almost no value <> the values I have in my boinc settings (local).
Also I have attached to NFS project and the project name is blank in the project tab, and also in the task tab. Weird, the project with non name ! :)

I had to restore the Server from a backup, that's the missing 2 days.
Will check the status sorting. A good thing that you gave the screen shot because I was thinking Tasks status. Should be easy to fix.
A blank project, interesting. Check Show->Error log.

I just attached NFS to 3 computers and it shows the project name....
Will check what could cause a blank project name.
Try File -> Restart Restarting might solve the problem.

And another strange thing I have noticed : on my iMac in the message tab it got "stuck" on 23/10/2021, no more messages since then.
I access 2 other machines from my BT Js : one linux VM machine (inside the Mac) + I remote linux hosted machine, on both no problem to access all messages since now.
In history tab no problem, I get all tasks until today.
I see that today the other 2 machines are also stuck with message as of yesterday, no more new messages displayed for 01/11 (and the mac is still stuck on 23/10).

1 strange thing only : ithena project has been renamed into ithena.measurements some time ago : I have both as separate projects in the list, ithena with the stats and graphs and ithena.measurements all blank with no data.
ithena.computational (another brother project) has its graphs / stats OK, and all the other projetcs are ok too.

Just for information, on that version when I edit boinc preferences I can still the strange "invalid number : 0.500000" red message displayed (see my message above early 2021 it is the same but with another value) but everything is working fine :)

I can't reproduce it and have no idea, but for 1.31 I added additional error checking and reporting, so we can see where the error occurs.
