I'd say, if noone is repeatedly accidentally damaging anything using it, then it is just an added functionality.
(I've already successfully used its Refresh, copied a displayed link a couple of times and also obtained an address of SETI's Flattr button image.)

Yes that's why I didn't remove it yet, so for now I will leave it in.
