Title: Temps out by 15 degC on Xeon 3060 CPU
Post by: jave200372 on August 25, 2011, 03:20:56 AM
Hi,
Just wondering why I'm getting two different CPU temps on my file server.  Core Temp 1.0 (RC) reports 45 degC at full load, while TThrottle 4.20 reports 60 degC.  Is it anything to do with the different Tjmax settings?

CPU is a Xeon 3060 running at 2.4GHz and OS is Windows XP Pro 32-bit.

Regards,
Jave.

Adjusting the TMax will get you the right reading.

Hi Fred,

Yep, all good when I adjust the Tjmax temp to 85 degC in TThrottle.  Thanks!

Jave.
