same problem than 1.96, the installation is fine, all files updates, but the main .exe file is no copied to the installation folder.

I had to install in another machine win11 x64 and compare the content in the folder for arm64, and seen than all files has been updated, except the bointask64.exe.

for the time being I had copied the new exe to the installation folder and now running 2.0 in windows 11 arm64.
already told, bear in mind, that x64 programs are emulated and running in windows arm64.

The installer is x64 only. I checked the installer on a Windows machine and it's indeed 1.96.
You can try deleting the old Boinctasks64.exe and run the installer to add the missing file.

The only real arm build is BoincTasks-Js for Windows and Mac.

But you know that Win 11 ARM64 works with Win x64 app in emulation, so, at least the installer could allow to install it on these machines.

I tried BT-JS and I have installed in my tablet (Win11 ARM64), but I'm old school and really in love with traditional BT.

hopefully in the future could be a native version for BT ARM64, of course not pushing you, I'm happy with latest version and working in my minicomputer too.

I have the controlling machine as a Windows 11 ARM64, and I installed version 1.95 without any problem.

Downloaded latest version 1.96, in several options:
- running setup from the NAS
- copying setup program in the computer and running it
- running it with administrator privilegies.

and in all option all files are updated except the .exe files, always remaining in 1.95 and deleted the access to the Startup menu.

only way I could have to install it, has been to install in previous machine windows 11 x64, and copying .exe files in Program Files correspondent folder of W11 ARM64, now running perfectly (I guess) but still no access in the startup menu.
it seems that the installer doesn't consider ARM64 as x64.

also, I don't know where is the file downloaded? just in case to run it manually.

I'm talking about the feature update, where it downloads update file?
does it on %temp% or another folder?

when click on check update and found new version it starts download the file and when asked for setup it does nothing.

1) It's what the system reports, the Windows store version is 32 bit only.
2) X should minimize not close - should do the same thing.

1) I do not use the Microsoft Store version because is only x32, I decided, if posible, not use any x32 software, I installed the store app but I show that was x32 and I uninstalled, installed manual version, and working fine with ARM64.

in the windows version when you point at: BoincTasks Js (Windows) version 2.4

if you copy the link and exchange the 2_1_0 by 2_4_0 you download the correct file.

Microsoft Store version only install x86 version.

Diving in instructions found my fault, now downloaded the translation as "Key-Value JSON (.json)" and now working correctly with translated file, and also testing it.

still there are some strings not ready to translate, still in English with no translation string available.

1- Why is program showing?

should be winARM64 and ARM64.
I did a double check in the task administrator - details - and all the instances of boinctasksjs are running in arm64 native.

2- How could be done closing click on 'x' and minimize to task bar?
instead of closing the program.

Running on Windows 11 ARM64, latest version, let say running as server, not running BOINC in this computer.

all other computers running windows 11 x64 and TThrotle 7.78, no temperature neither CPU usage shown in app.

windows version it says that 2.4 version but downloads only 2.1

and when click in update it download the file but not installs it.
