Hello

I can see there is a new version "BoincTasks Js runs native on Linux, Mac and Windows", JOY !! no more wine and all its blocking  and freezing ! (I've been using for many years on different macs)

But when I go to its download page it only mentions an ubuntu version (a .deb file) and a windows version (more recent !), nothing about any mac version ?

I happily use BT with wine on my Mac.

I'm very interested with the cloud (or mobile ?) thing, but enabling the option in BT (cloud) doesn't seem to work, I followed the video but it says

Logging in.
Wrong reply from the server: version.
Did you login with BoincTasks?

Is it because of wine ? is it possible via wine ?

I installed BT 1.46 on a Win 2012 server, when I go to Computer menu all options are greyed out, I cannot do Add new computer... any idea ?

Note : I don't have boinc installed on the server and I won't, I just want BT remote access to other boinc instances thru the web.

First thanks for that great idea, I've been looking for a long time for something like that, allowing to access my main computer (iMac) boinc client from anywhere.

On my android phone I have AndroBoinc which is really working fine and allows to do the basics, from the home iPad I couldn't, so of course decided to try this as soon as I was aware of it.

I read the f*****g manual and did all the steps, but the iPad cannot connect to boinc via BoincTasks, after a long time I get a connect error.

I use BoincTasks via wine on the mac, maybe the server side options are not possible via wine ?

Also I access boinc from AndroBoinc from internet and not local network (cause I know it's working fine ) so maybe there is another "local issue" ?

I won't be able to test any solution before long cause the iPad went to holiday this morning and I won't see it before a long time, but maybe it's worth discussing the issue here and it can help others.
