Beta Testing / Re: Can not abort tasks 1.93
September 21, 2023, 05:21:38 PM
remote machine, it seems like its something to filter combine on running (& high) and on my computers with 128 WU's.  I went back to 1.78 and its the same so I guess I never noticed and I just got these higher core count ones so there is maybe some limit exceeded

If I expand it and do them with shift key the dialouge for abort list them seperatly and it works vs something with 1 row listing n items.

Questions / BoincTasks on winget
December 04, 2021, 08:04:57 PM
Hello all since Microsoft made a package manager and BT was not there I make package and put in a pull request for integration

once committed then you can run  winget install BoincTasks

In a strange turn of events after a bugcheck and some updates being installed BT started working again.

it asked me if I was running windows and then crashes 10x in a loop like before.  I ran as admin just in case.

OK no worries, hope your un-swamped soon ;)

Hello Fred, I just made the 1809 updated and see the same issue, now we are a few more months in seems like it could be worth fixing?

running as admin doesn't fix it.  I can send the crash dumps if that helps?

I used some RPC code to check this and I see the correct data via RPC

Name           Description                                                Url
----           -----------                                                ---

FAQ            Frequently Asked Questions on LHC@home                     http://lhcathome.web.cern.ch/faq

Looking at other projects also it seems that BT trims the 1st line from list of webpages or overwrites the 1st result with the 'home page'

It's correct in BOINC but not in Boinc Tasks, how does BT know what to display, maybe I can fix my self.

Questions / Project Websites
April 09, 2017, 09:46:22 AM
Hello,

For LHC@home in BOINC I see 5 options for the websites but in BT, I only see 4. However its just for this site as others have more.

How can I get to see all the options?
