Questions / Re: TT will run on ARM win 10??
« on: October 05, 2019, 04:12:20 pm »
so easy (or difficult) like the subject, I'm thinking about the Surface Pro X with ARM based processor and also Adreno GPU.
On an ARM based system everything is different, like driver and program, so it wont run.
Just messing around, I understand that won't run because of different architecture, I'm agree, but could "run" as messenger for BT running TT and using the external tab for HWinfo either GPU-Z for at least having the sensor readings in TT and case connected to another computer to BT??

Questions / [OT] Running x64 app only in Moo
« on: September 25, 2019, 03:47:35 pm »
Hi all,

I've a weird problem with Moo project, I don't want to run x86 (CPU) app (because they're painful slow compared with x64 app) and I want to run only x64 CPU, problem, both of them are the same version of app. :o

I've tried via Moo project preference web and there isn't option to unable x86 app.
Also I went to Moo forum and posted for a question about it and still didn't get any answer.
also I tried to do something in the app_congig.xml but I do not see the way of doing it. >:(

any help/hint to do it?? :'(

or even a rule in BOINCtask to reject such app (only x86)??

There isn't a perfect match...
Use the right mouse key on the right line and select copy selected to clipboard.
Past the result here, that way I get an exact copy....

that's it for Properties of actual app:

Still shown AMD GPU works as "AMD/ATI GPU"  :'(

I cannot tell anything about D0 or D1 because I've just removed the 2nd AMD GPU (HD7770) and placed a spare Nvidia GTX 1050ti.

in this case is the GPU of the AMD APU not a dedicated one.  ::)

I´ll send you a PM with the screen-shoot.

Questions / Same computer with two same GPU brand
« on: August 26, 2018, 03:51:12 pm »
I have one computer with two GPU (AMD):
  • device 0: with AMD APU
  • Device 1: AMD HD 7770

- device 0 is reported in ussage in BT as "device 0"
- device 1 is reported in ussage in BT as "d1"

why not being reported as "d0" & "d1" instead of different names each one??

I also noticed that I have another computer with two GPU as
- one for the internal I7, Intel HD 4600
- second NV GF 1050Ti

and no one of them are listed as d0 neither d1 they looks like independent and they belong to the same computer.  :-\

Questions / Condense AMD GPU too
« on: August 21, 2018, 05:58:26 pm »
I guess that ATI has left the name in the road long time ago from the "new Owner" why not to exchange?
e.g. "AMD/ATI GPU" by sorter one as AMD only  :o

V 1.77

Changed: Condense, 1 Intel GPU -> 1INT, CPU -> C, Nvidia GPU -> NV.✓

To be sure:

The external tab shows a GPU in Gpu 1 and a temperature.

Already sent PM with all related screen shots.

Still not showing any GPU data in Surface 4,

will send screen shot in pm

Beta testing problems / Re: TT 7.70
« on: August 05, 2017, 07:34:12 pm »
Did you set a password in 2)  TThrottle that crashes. Tab 6, Preference.

The GPU temp & limit and percentage is not shown in the Surface only, all other computer is clearly shown.

there is NOT set any password in TT in preferences in the Surface

Beta testing problems / TT 7.70
« on: August 04, 2017, 08:38:26 am »
Tablet Surface 4 (w10Pro_x64) doesn't show in the first tab (Programs) the temp reading of GPU (APU i7-6650U & Intel Iris Graphics 540) it's shown as a empty square same as the square for GPU percentage running.  :o

So could not set the limit temperature that was set in previous versions and for exchange it I do have to exchange in "Regedit".  ::)  ;)

Already tried in remote in BT by the Tab "TThrottle" and could be done in first instance but after set up it crashes the TT in the surface tablet.  :P

already sent dump file via "we transfer"  8)

correction to my previous message:
  • AMD A10-7850K & Radeon R7 (APU) + Radeon HD7700: reading of CPU, GPUo & GPU1 from HWI, correct display in HWI and in TT and in BT too differente reading for different GPUs

after some hours with correct reading my HD7700 was melted showing in TT 6780 Celsius  :o but HWI was showing the correct reading, I disable the temp reading in TT for the second GPU and TT showing again the correct readings. Now CPU by HWI, GPU0 by HWI too and GPU1 by TT straight forward and correctly displayed in BT.

Hi Fred,

marvellous job done.

some scenarios and issues, all windows 10 Pro x64 in Spanish latest version (CU) and in all them reading from HWInfo64 5.54-3200 in auto start:
  • Surface 4 Intel i7-6650U & Iris Graphics 540 (APU): CPU direct reading from TT & GPU from HWI as GPU GT Cores (Graphics), correct.
  • i7-4771 & HD Graphics 4600 (APU) + NV GTX 1050Ti: Direct readings from TT & GPU 2 readings from HWI as  GPU GT Cores (Graphics), readings correct and display too in TT but in BT showing two but the highest value of one GPUs only.
  • AMD Ryzen 7-1800X + NV GTX 1060 6GB: CPU readings from HWI (perfect) and direct readings for GPU from TT, if I select the GPU value from HWI it shows correct in HWI but erratic readings in TT and sometimes goes over everything and shutdown the computer ????????????
  • AMD A10-7850K & Radeon R7 (APU) + Radeon HD7700: reading of CPU, GPUo & GPU1 from HWI, correct display in HWI and in TT and in BT too differente reading for different GPUs

very strange the behaviour of Ryzen 7 + NV 1060
