Hi Fred,

I think that all the options selected with the mouse right click in the projects window,
could be available in in the tool bar in all the tabs too, on that way could be easier to
ask for new work, or suspend projects or anything else without going to the project
window.

ANOTHER THING:

is there any volunteer that could design new icons for this useful program ?? ....
.......... and made it good looking too  .

1 - You mean the toolbar and the view selection bar?
I'm thinking of making yet another bar that fits over the computer bar. With all the ones that are missing in the view selection bar.
3 - More specific, what button and what line.

1 - Tool bar and View selection bar has the same buttons: Tasks, Projects, transfer, Messages.
3 - "View Selection Bar" the butons are not correctly vertically centred.

there has been quite big improvements in this version, some doubts:
- why two same buttons with Projects, tasks, messages and transfers??
- about the computers, there should be something like a tree with an
"all computers", because in other way if we want to see all then after
being in other windows you have to use the "ctrl" or "shift" with the mouse.
- there is a little misalignment between the button and the line where is located.
- in the transfer tab, I thing the sorting by the % doesn't work correctly,
  now I can't check.
- the exchange of colour pale, dark of row still doesn't work.

I think I wrote before about making a new tab with computer:
like processor, CPU, GPU, OS version, BOINC version, etc.

I think that could be useful add to this tab the TThorttle version too,
in order to know with a quick view which computer/s need to be updated
and what need to be updated e.g. BOINC manager, TThrottle.
could be included BT too with a self check every xx days.

I saw that one, but it is probably a driver thing. I don't get a name from the driver.
Do you have the latest drivers installed on that machine?

one of my computer is still not reporting the name of the GPU installed, it's a ATI HD3850, that is crunching perfectly MW and AP beta.

everything that we're saying is correct, but not so correct, because the computer (Laptop) I connect
has no dns known available that the fixed computers at home should know in the remote_host.cfg,
so, is it anyway of giving a fix name to the laptop and this intro in the remote_host.cfg of the fixed ones??

And what about giving also the laptop a DynDNS name? The same way as the router at home?

How could be this??, every time I'll my laptop connect to the web (mobile, Fleet connection (satellite internet on board vessels)) my dynamic IP will be converted to a dynamic address (static name)??, I really don't need a dynamic domain for home, as I have a software that sends my an email every time mi public IP at home exchanges, so there is no so much problems to configure the "controlling" computer with such IP, of course it would be easier to do it with a dyndns and giving a name and not exchange in case the IP.

- 1 store the windows position (already in wish list)
- 2 remember disconnected computers, I mean, if computer is not connected at this moment, remember the last state that it had.
- 3 in the previous case could be shown a red "X" before the name in the window.
- 4 some kind of store for retired host, case of upgrading one computer.
- 5 if possible in case of portable computer, save different computers distributions, case using at home the normal layout and in case of remote connection.

2 just to keep track of historical computers, and in case that comms will lost the computer doesn't dissapear from the panel as it happens now.

4 no the store of settings, in connection with 2 keep file of retired computers.
5 if I run BT at home it use to have some settings as IP (mainly private IP), etc.
   if I want to run from the www, there should be another IP(public with ports forwarded), another domains, etc, for same computers that these options could be stored and retrieved depending where you were, "home" the Intranet IP or connected to internet away home "On the Fly".

after a windows explorer crash, that the icons of TT and BT would be visible in the task bar, most of the times when this happens and explorer is restarted they are not visible.

I've done more or less what you say forwarding ports, etc. in the router, connecting BT with a connection
outside router, but there is the problem that not know IP, domain,  etc. is know by the clients at home and
for that reason is not accepted the connection.

being always the newest first, on that way there is a quick reference when you're
surfing in the web without pressing the update button.

you the health certificate, I've got it, but not the job by the moment (all British contracts, we were sack
in last July  , I had this contract as I joined trough the old UK office and member of a UK Union too ),
so I've taken as a leap year  , and looking for job by now.

anyway, do you know a good professional software for comparing and adjusting the compass??, I've seen
C-Swing, that is good for doing the deviation curve but not takes the initial setup of magnets and a help
of how they have to be for the final. I'm going to do the course of "Official compass adjuster" on the 10th
November, another youth sin, when this certificate was established in Spain all person with 5th Of University
(Nautical) and Captain ticket, you were able to got it, the time passed, and now only with the official course

and what you say the prices of Fleet (64 Kbaud) and Fleet broadband (128 Kbaud) are still very expensive,
compared with Mini-M (2400 baud) at least this last is cheap, but for a normal connection to check mail
2 hours desperation.

but the problem is the name (or IP) of the controlling computer, that must be in the "remote_hosts.cfg"
of the controlled computers.

so, could it be names without IP numbers is the "remote_hosts.cfg"??, as the controller computer use to
have a dynamic IP and unknown.
