7- Corrected. http://efmer.eu/download/boinc/test/TThrottle_1_6_3_amd.zip
Hi Fred,

working in x86, no CUDA tab shown as the GPU is AMD/ATI. :)

Cheers, Carmelo

6- The example in the 64 bit version was not updated: <DEBUG>1</DEBUG>
7- On all or only the ones that give a temperature?

Hi Fred,

6-Ok
7-no both of them,
the x64 gives the correct temperature reading and there is CUDA tab
the x86 there is no sensor and no temperature reading is shown, but CUDA tab is shown too.

Cheers, Carmelo.

Hi all,

1-The scalable graph, can show the throttle percentage of the CPU and GPU.
2-The graph colors are now fully user definable.
3-Extra rule "number" like if gpu number > 2 reboot, reboots the system if more than 2 cuda exe are kept in memory.
4-Added AMD/ATI graphic card support.
5-NVidia card support for 2x GPU cards like the 295 (tested ok).
6-Added debug logging for AMD/ATI & NVidia. <debug> Switch in the XML file.

1-Correctly shown in all my computers (x86 & x64 OS)
2-Correct, exchanged and working really fine.
3-N/A only one GPU
4-Now when available Temperature sensor, the temp. is correctly shown, that's the case of laptop that has not temperature sensor for GPU.
5-N/A only one GPU
6-How could be activated this switch??

still shown CUDA tab in AMD/ATI GPU computers.

really very good.

Cheers, Carmelo.  ;)

Hi Fred,

1) Is the GPU temperature in the temperature tab?
yes, two different (x64) but very close one each other as if it were two GPUs
2) Is the GPU temperature in the programs tab?
    no
3) Do you see the CUDA tab?
yes, in both x86 and x64 & ATI GPUs
4) Did you see the CUDA tab in the release version?
No (in PCs with ATI/AMD GPU).

Hi Fred,

here are the logs of this last version, in the laptop (x86) no chance, not sensor found.

in the desktop (x64) correct reading of temperature, and displayed in mini window after G:,
but not shown the GPU temperature in the Programs (GPU), of course as is ATI there isn't
CUDA there is no way of setting a throttling temperature, but could be interesting that
in the box to the effect shown the read temperature.

Although this is a beta version and it has to be polished, but in ATI systems I could see the
CUDA tab. ???

Hi Fred,

I'm diving in internet about monitoring Temperature in Laptops' GPUs (NVidia & ATI/AMD)
and it looks like that at least there is no sensor for the "Old" GPUs, and that AMD/ATI &
NVidia are doing new hardware with this kind of sensors for "new" GPUs, but still I don't
know which are the supported models that come with it.

What I expected the first one does not report the temperature to the driver. Maybe because there is not separate fan for the GPU.
The second one reports ok.
I will integrate the AMD readings into the program, so it will work exactly like the NVidia one.

The only thing that is very strange... the atiadlxx.dll should be on the 32 bit system and atiadlxy.dll should be on the 64 bit system.
But they both seem to use the atiadlxx.dll (32 bit version).
Can you check both files. On which system they are.
atiadlxx.dll in x86 and x64 are in the C:\windows\system32
atiadlxy.dll in x86 can't find in the x86 system.
atiadlxy.dll in x64 system is located in C:\windows\syswow64

@Corsair: OOPS!  It is SP2 - well spotted.  Put SP3 on so many machines I forgot this one didn't have it.

Hi Bob,

no pro at all.

I'm wondering that Microsoft release this expected (& uncertain) sp3 for x64.
I think that XP Pro x64 AMD64 (together with w2003 x64) is the very best and
most stable OS ever developed, I really love it and by the moment I'm not
going to migrate to Vista x64 (I'm crazy but no so much to do so) and I'll wait
to know how is windows 7 x64 before starting the OS upgrade of machines.

Cheers, ;)

these are the logs:

As the temperature is in millidegrees ;D, the second with 54C could be correct. But we need some more computers to test this

Aaaaaaaaaaaarghhhhhh, heart attack my laptop GPU is running at 2.088.803 deg Celsius, I can not resist any.. more my fingers are mel...t..i..n..g.

Questions / Re: Sending a log through email failing

I sent a test email, which worked. When I try to send the logfile, it gives me this error message:

"(M91) tthrottle_mailer.exe not running?"

To clarify, I use gmail for the email system, and I put in my settings according to what was in the FAQ.

I've tested with last stable versions and really works, have you uninstalled
or deleted the whole Program files\efmer\TThottle directory before install
the new version (1.62 really works fine) ?? because I've seen that in some
previous versions and previous betas too, becuase of the locations of the
tthrottle_mail(64).exe program.
