Good day to you all,

just checking with search for computers and when given a known range, I mean I know that this range exists started searching and program hung and quit.

all other quite good. 

Scanning can take a long time, up to 1 minute / address when nothing is found. So make the range < 10.
When you start the button text changes to stop.
Below the address, an other address appears, the scanning address.

But because this is done in the same thread as the dialog it seems the dialog and part of the program hangs.
I will move the search part to a thread so the program itself will not be affected.

It would be nice to have a pointer to the BOINC wwebdite in the help menu as I do not always run Boinc on the same computer that I run BoincTasks on.  I realize this is trivial, but would be nice not to shrink Boinctasks just to get to a shortcut on the desktop.  I know I am lazy.

A shortcut on your desktop that links the browser directly to the BOINC Website?

BoincTasks doesn't give the previous screen position or size.
The sorting indicators are not the same, as you closed the computer.

Next time you shutdown your computer:

Close BoincTasks using exit.
Close Windows by Start -> Shutdown. This is preferred over the Off button.

Windows has the nasty habit of not storing the entire registry or letting the program exit properly, when you hit the Off button.
The off button is fast, because most users like a fast shutdown.

So using the controlled shutdown method, you get a more complete and better shutdown of your computer.

Once the settings are properly stored in the registry you can start using the Off button again.

when click on one row in any windows this remains highlighted and nothing
could be done to remove this selection, is it possible that clicking in a empty
space of the same window that the selection will be removed, showing the
highlighted row as its previous colour/state??

sometimes is useful to visually check if has been exchanged the status of
some item, instead of reading, much visual (ohh!! these lazy eyes)

Happy New year to all of you and yours. 

Holding the control key down will allow you to select multiple rows. And it will let you remove the selection of any selected row.
And the Shift key can be used to select from row to row.

In order to see the throttling and temperatures in BoincTasks check the following.

In TThrottle:
Open the dialog and go to the tab preference and check Enable BoincTasks.

In BoincTasks:

In the menu, open Extra->Settings. In the general tab, check Connect to TThrottle
In the same dialog, in the Tasks tab, at the end there are 2 Columns set to hide. Change these into throttle and temperature. To apply these changes press Apply.

As of TThrottle 5.00 and BoincTasks 1.19 it is possible to set a TThrottle/BoincTasks password. The passwords in both programs must be empty (not secure) or identical.

After selecting finished tasks and firing Project Update, I've notices that for projects having multiple tasks finished, the same number of update requested by user messages appeared in the message list.

I know that the client will finally discard redundant requests and launch just one update, but I think that (to be a bit more efficient) already the BT should limit this redundancy.

(Imagine that Corsair could have many thousands of finished tiny tasks from some xyz@home on his remote network's hosts, he will not be cautious (to select just one task) and will send many thousands update requests over his overpriced oversee GPRS or satellite connection )

Edit the file with a simple text editor like notepad(.exe)

The languages.xml is located in the folder /lang just below the BoincTasks.exe
These languages are displayed in Extra->Settings->General->Language.

To add an additional language, add the following:

The language name is displayed in the dropdown list as Nederlands (Dutch).
The id number can be found in Help->Show Log as:

User: 1043 (NLD), System: 1043 (NLD), Used: 1033 (ENU)

User: User selected language.
System: The OS installed language.
Use: The actually selected language.

The language selection sequence is:

1) The selected language.
2) The User language.
3) The System language.
4) The Fallback language 1033 (ENU) = English.

The initial selection is the first item in the list. In this case System = no language selected use User, System or Fallback.

Make sure you use the latest Beta version with the latest text.
