I'm glad this fixed the problem, took me a while to dig in the source code and find the problem.

Fixed in TThrottle V 7.77

Questions / Re: HWInfo 7.00 CPU temp
May 07, 2023, 10:32:55 AM
Checked 7.42 and it works just fine.
Use the 32 bit portable version.
Settings -> Main Settings -> "Shared Memory Support" OK.

In TThrottle go to External and check HWINFO should show (Found running)
Now select the sensors in TThrottle for CPU and GPU

Do you use V 1.90? because I checked and it works as expected.
#67
When I use 0.00 as a version number everthing works as expected, so that's not it.
#68
I checked the Application page https://asteroidsathome.net/boinc/apps.php
There is no 0.00 app, that I can find to check.

Right that function was there before the sidebar.
It takes the computer from a selected item.
I added it to the todo list.

I checked 1.90 adding a project and the focus stays on the add project dialog.
Maybe there is an open Notice or alert??

I asume this is a project problem, the BOINC client should handle a http -> https change.

Had a simular problem with World Community Grid.

Beta Testing / Re: Doesn't accept <device_name>
March 29, 2023, 07:18:32 PM
Quote from: hucker on February 14, 2023, 06:45:11 PMI added the <device_name> tag to my cc_config.  Boinctasks says it's an error (the opening tag is highlighted in red).  I can add it to the file manually, but if I edit the config in Boinctasks later on, it deletes the entry!

This might be your program, or it might be Boinc itself.  I know it weirdly adds gpu usage tags into CPU only instructions in app config.
There is a syntax check file in the BoincTasks folder, telling it what is OK.

Quote from: JStateson on February 24, 2023, 01:53:24 PMThe rule works fine if Boinctasks runs when Windows starts which is the normal case.
It does not work if I run Boinctasks from the desktop shortcut.  I need to specify "run as administrator" else none of the 3 lines of code do anything.
When BoincTasks starts it starts the Boinc client and owns it.
If the client is already running by your command, the ownership probably changes and BoincTasks can no longer access it directly.
It might also be that at startup BoincTasks runs as started by system, not sure.

I checked and it download fine, maybe a glitch in the server.
It depends on the browser, some will block this download a couple of times.

You can use the the Update function in BoincTasks Help->Update that doesn't rely on the browser.
