When trying to get a remote computer to talk to my main one, I have to wait to see if BoincTasks gets the connection or not, and I'm never sure how long to wait!  Some way of telling it to retry immediately would be helpful.

I have a ridiculous number of computers running boinc, so I'd like sometimes to see the history of ONE computer to check on problems with a particular project for example - is this possible?

Milkyway has a priority 3 times higher than Moo, yet I noticed Moo was doing way more work than Milkyway.  These are both set to ATI only, and I'm looking at the ATI debts).  So I looked at the debts for each project to try and work out what was going on.  Can anyone explain what these numbers mean?  To me a debt means it has to do more work.  So a negative debt means it does NOT have to do more work.  Is this the right way round?  Milkyway has a long term debt of 0 and a short term debt of 13.334052.  Moo has a long term debt of -783246.958682 and a short term debt of -60914.118392.

I've occasionally noticed that boinctasks will have a ^2 on one of the columns, which seems to show that it's a secondary sort.  How do I make it do this?

I've got two GPUs.  I have a single GPU task and a dual GPU task queued.  Boinc chooses to run the single one on one GPU leaving the other idle.  WHY?!?!?  Why not download more?!?!?

Yes I know, it's BOINC and not BOINC tasks that's causing it (probably).

I've had to set Tjunction to 80 to get the correct temperature reading.  This seems to have limited me to throttling at a maximum of 79C.  My CPU is happy at 90C, so I can't get the maximum out of it using Tthrottle.

Yes yes I know maybe it's not recommended, but I've always run i7s at 90C and they've never worn out.  They have autoshutoffs so they won't melt!

It's an Intel i7 940 on a Gigabyte X58A-UD3R motherboard.

Does tthrottle only throttle boinc, or will it throttle other programs?  Not that I can currently think of anything that will run on 8 cores....

I frequently need to see messages older than the message tab displays.

I have a little problem with work fetch, but is it a boinc tasks problem or a boinc problem?  Is boinc tasks just an interface, or does it do the calculations as to what to download aswell?

It seems silly running Boinc Tasks AND Boinc Manager, but if I exit Boinc manager (in the system tray), the client (or whatever you call the thing that does the work) stops too, and no tasks run.  I can't uninstall Boinc Manager as it seems to come with the client.
