Questions / Tthrottle not working

I am having problems getting Tthrottle to work with my new cpu (OctalCore AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, 4600 MHz (46.25 x 99). I have updated HWinfo with no change, I still can not get a cpu reading. Does anyone have any ideas? Or suggestions of symilar software to Tthrottle that might work.

Right, I haven't maintained the app for a long time and just removed it from the website.

I stopped using it a long time ago because it heats up my phone dangerously.

Wish List / Can't download BoincTasks for ...

Hi fred

I wanted to download and run BoincTasks for Android on my phone, so that I could see and control my PCs that were running BOINC.

Problem though is that Google Play won't let me download the app!! It complains that my version of Android is too new and that it wouldn't be compatible.

My phone is a Google Pixel 7 running Android 14 with all the latest updates applied.

Hi fred

Just noticed something unusual in BoincTasks Js.

I tried adding a PC which was running BOINC BUT with no tasks running on that PC. BoincTasks Js would find and add the PC, but it would register it as invalid, ie there was a red icon next to that PC in the "Computers" list.

Once I added a project with active, running tasks, BoincTasks Js would then add the PC to the "Computers" list correctly.

Go to the computer tab, select a computer and click delete on the bottom of the page.

Computers -> Edit and remove the check. -> Update changes at the bottom.

Or manually:
Exit BoincTasks JS
In the debug log find the userData folder
Go to BoincTasks Js\settings
Edit computers.xml
Start BoincTasks JS
