I already tried that before I reported it originally.  Note that the symptom only occurs if the Graphic toolbar is placed third (from the left).  If the order is changed to e.g., Selection|Graphic|Operation everything stays in place.  (Which of course is a workaround for the problem )

Behavior is the same in v0.96.  I also installed 0.96 on 2 remote machines with same results.

I can reproduce it on one computer and that will be my development computer for some time.
The problem may be that the selection is a dialog of sort, that is scaled to fit properly. It may be a lot longer initially, forcing the others to move aside.
