Future of BoincTasks (Non-Js)?
« on: August 26, 2021, 08:40:54 pm »
Hi Fred,

it seems that you are very busy with your implementation of "BoincTasks Js" and you are making great progress, but I'm also curious about the future of your original manager. I guess that a lot of people still like to have a native application and I wonder if you could imagine to release the source code here as well?

What's your opinion on and what are your plans for the ongoing development of both of your projects? :)

Kind regards

I'm traveling, so a delayed response.

BoincTasks (Windows) is still active.
At the moment I don't think much is missing.

BoincTasks Js is targeting Linux and Max.
BoincTasks Js is running Native on Windows on Intel AMD and ARM.

BoincTasks Js is way easier for me to support, I can write code at least 20 times faster and way simpler.
