Remember dialog box positions

Perhaps exacerbated by me having multiple monitors, Boinctasks doesn't remember where for example the boinc preferences dialog was last used.  In my case it's going to monitor 1 even though boinctasks is on another screen.  Please either make it remember the last position of the dialog, even remember globally for every dialog, or make it appear somewhere in the Boinctasks main window area, say the middle.

The locations should be stored, but ONLY if you exit BoincTasks, so you have to do this once.
Hitting the power button to close the system, may bypass storing things.

If possible can you make it remember just by finishing with the dialog box?  I have it running all the time, so probably the next time Boinctasks is closed will be a crash of Boinctasks (I see it silently restart sometimes), or me using windows shutdown or restart command, but the computer tends to run for about 6-9 months between restarts.

This must be a windows problem. I am running 24h2 and while the popups do go originally to monitor 1. If I move the popup to monitor 2 it remembers to pop up in monitor 2.  I have to do this for every popup, but once it gets moved it remembers the same location even if BT is moved back to monitor 1.  I only tested the boinctasks and boinc setting's popups.  If you restart windows with the displays left on the screen then windows must do the restore.  It would be convenient to have the popup always be on the same monitor.

I do remember back in win10 if my monitor 2 died there were some applications that were ghosted to monitor 2 and it was a real PITA to get them to move back to monitor 1.  Currently with win11 when my monitor 2 dies (it has a problem) all the icons and apps move to monitor 1 but they will return once I unplug and plug the monitor back in.  That did not happen in 10 and on occasion the ghosted apps remained ghosted even after the monitor was fixed.  By "ghosted" I mean that you see the apps icon in the task bar of both monitors but the app does now show up anywhere when you click on its icon.

Windows 11 reboots roughly every 4 month if left to itself.  I assume you are running 10.

Just tested, and it does remember if I go back to the same dialog immediately.  Not if it's been a day.  I guess in that time Boinctasks has crashed (it does that a lot).  Boinctasks needs to write the position now, not wait until just before exiting.

I'm on 21H2, only just noticed Windows has given up giving me updates because I refuse to buy a TPM on 10 machines just for them.  I used Rufus to bypass on the original install.  I can't be bothered going through it again.  M$ can go intercourse itself.  I gather Windows 12 will require an AI capable CPU!  "Oh but doesn't everyone use a computer less than a year old?"

I can't test it on Win 10 anymore and BoincTasks is compiled for Win 11.

I'm using Windows 11, have I still got 10 in some info somewhere in my profile?

I'm running Windows 11 on several computers.

Windows generally uses both screens as one big screen.
So BoincTasks only sees coordinates.

When one monitor is lost, all bets are off, Windows sometimes does strange things and moves everthing to the monitor that is working.

Likely here, since I've cobbled together loads of old monitors (5).  Combinations of VGA, DVI, HDMI, DP, and even USB,  with many adapters!  Just ordered a new graphics card with 6 outputs, so I don't have to use USB which is very flaky.  The adapters burn out every 6 months!
