  • nCi (0.01 CPU and the like) tasks
But tasks with less that 1 CPU aren't throttled as it is now.
What about "GPU tasks", which manifest requirements like "GPU + 0.21 CPU" (Einstein, Seti), but occasionally run for hours on a full CPU core? Is it still possible to add them manually?

The purpose of the operation was lean. ;D Limit the amount of threads, because this caused more and more overhead. Especially on portable computers with more and more cores.
But you can always fall back on the old method. That now includes a way to add both CPU and GPU .
