Well, maybe not taking away, as doubtless some people have use for it. The "PING" whenever I click something is driving me crazy. I'd love the option to not have the noise.

Although now, I can think of something I'd like to see.

How about the ability to hide all but the workunits actually running? Possibly filters for paused and waiting. Unless I've missed how to work the filter widget.

Aha ping.
The control panel -> sound -> sounds Find select and set it to none. And the ping should be gone.
There is no filter for running tasks, as everyone, until now, wants to see them.
