I've been having a serious heat problem with my laptop, so I just installed Tthrottle and tried to use it.  It ran and gave me the following message.

01:33:18 OpenService failed!  Error = 1060 (start driver)
Unable to start driver. (is the driver installed?)
01:33:18 ERROR: Driver NOT installed properly

Processor: Type: No Match, ?????, Stepping: ??
Processor: Max Case Temperature: 0 °C, Max Power 0W

  NO Thermal Monitor Detected (ACPI=0)

I'm sending it to fred, but I'm somewhat confused by No Thermal Monitor Detected and Digital Temperature Sensor Detected.

All help greatly appreciated!

The driver should be properly installed first.
Make sure TTrottle is not running! and you are logged in as administrator.
Goto the map C:\Program Files\eFMer\TThrottle
Double click on (start) InstallDriver.exe
Choose remove driver and choose exit
Start InstallDriver.exe again and choose Install Driver.
This should install the driver properly. Exit the installer.
Now restart the computer, start TThrottle and send me the ENTIRE log not just parts, but from the beginning.
And be sure you have the right OS (WINDOWS) and the 32 or 64 bit version.
