I probably found the problem, a slight miscalculation.

Same problem here. I got a message that I had had 12 crashes in last 12 hours and that if I removed them from AppData/eFMer/BoincTasks/crash, BT would run again. All 12 dmps are from today and are 0 bytes. All 12 removed but BT continues to crash (although seen to be running in Task Manager).

I then reinstalled 1.21 and attempted to run. Now get a new error message about fatal error in language file: BoincTasks_ENU.btlang. Unsure if this is going to be of any use, but here are the contents of that file:

QuoteOpen file:C:\Program Files\eFMer\BoincTasks\lang\BoincTasks_ENU.btlang
Group: <GroupMenuMain> string header in pos 177, <ShowHistoryLong> not found
Group: <GroupMenuMain> string header in pos 178, <ShowHistoryLongS> not found
Group: <GroupDialogSettings> string header in pos 375, <HistoryMoveLong> not found
Group begin not found: <groupdialoghistorylong>

You should remove the installation the official way.  ;D

Or.....
Remove the folder C:\Program Files\eFMer\BoincTasks\lang
Remove C:\Program Files\eFMer\BoincTasks boinctasksxx.exe.
Install 1.21 again.

OK. BT uninstalled this time using the official way and 1.21 installed without any problem. Nice to see that even though the program is deinstalled, it reinstalls with old settings retained ;)

Attempted to update to 1.22 but once again, program continues to crash along with Fatal error of BoincTasks_ENU.btlang. Eventually, reached 'more than 10 crashes in last 12 hours message'.

I'd love to do more to help with this version, but for me it is unusable, so it's back to 1.12 for me.

I'm working on 1.23 with a bug fix, will be released soon.

Thanks. BTW 1.12 was a typo, I'm using 1.21 ;)

I do not observe any crashes in 1.22 and have skipped 1.23 because of the announced problems with crashing+corrupted history files.

The last time I've opened my Long-term History window (set to 1 year) a couple of days ago. But today, just at opening the Short History tab (set to 23 hours), while BT was 2-3 seconds switched-busy after switching tabs, I've spotted some errored-out Milkyway task, one red line in a green ocean. After the refres it was gone. But it did nor appear in the Long-term History - the problem is, the most recent task there was finished on 6.10.2011 23:49, tasks finished during 7.10.-12.10.2011 are missing - one more bug to investigate?

For usability (and it concerns all similar dialogs: LT-History, TaskGraphs, StatGraphs) - I'm really missing a simple option to select all (or at least multiple) projects (and individuals with loads of controlled machines might need to select multiple clients in these dialogs). Please, the same way as <Ctrl><LMClick> or  <Ctrl><Tab> (de)selects one line, could <Shift><Click> select a range of lines between the clicked and the previously selected line, the same way as it is implemented in tabs?

(For the future wish list, a) <Shift><Home> and <Shift><End> might select all line towards beginning/end of the list, b) <Ctrl><lmClick> + <Ctrl><Shift><lmClick> might add a new selected range to the existing selection. Both a) and b) is already correctly implemented in Messages tab, but could uniformly work in all displayed lists in BT.)

V 1.22 has the same problems as V 1.23, plus one. Try V 1.24
