I like to know why  a Wu is not transferring up or down.  Presently I have to go to the task or project tab to get to the associated website.   It would be nice if I was able to do this from the transfer tab directly  via the drop down menu (right button) on the transfer WU line.  As each attempt adds time to the delay for the next attempt there is some long times between tries.

I like to check on my transfers that have been waiting a long time to see what the reason is for the delay.  Presently I have to go to the  task tab or project tab to get the www address.  Many times the transfer is waiting for the timer to reach zero before it tries again. This can be hours of unnecessary time wasted if the status has changed from not working to working.

The scheduling seems to be querky.  If one work unit is running in high priority, the scheduler seems to go throught restarting different task as can be seen by the messages below:  Notice that there are just a few seconds between restarts when it should be 60 minutes.  This was happening in BY 94 and 95 also.  It only happens on machines that have priority running wus.

This seems to be new with the 0.67.  What is the meaning of (u) after the status in the history status column?  Could not find anything in the manual section or the detailed manual section of the web site.

Just curious.

What does boinctasks do with "notices" now that boinc 6.11.4 has been released and the message tab has been deleted from boinc, and a new menu item has been added "event log" under the advanced tab?  Are we going to be able to see them both from our remote computers?

The following projects are showing up as more than 100% complete and the completion time is a  dash. Since  it is happening to multiple projects, I have to believe it is a problem  with calculations in boinctasks.

The boinc manager shows for all the above projects as 000% completion and --- in the time to completion fields.  They are on different computers and running XP3 and Vista.

When I try to download 0.52 I get a message that the setup files are corrupted and to get a new download.  I tried but got the same thing.  ANy Ideas?

What is  the meaning and usage of the wanted tasks field in the computers display in BT 50?

When a project does not complete initialization(only URL shows), am unable to detach it thru BoincTasks using the project page and right clicking to use the remove/detach functions.  Must go to the specific attached computer an do it with the BoincMgr.  This is happening  on XP and Vista. Projects no longer exist or are shut down completely until further notice.

It would be nice to have a pointer to the BOINC wwebdite in the help menu as I do not always run Boinc on the same computer that I run BoincTasks on.  I realize this is trivial, but would be nice not to shrink Boinctasks just to get to a shortcut on the desktop.  I know I am lazy.

It would be nice to have the copy abillity in the history panel like there is in the message panel.  This comes in handy when you want to show an inconsistant line(s) from the history panel in the forum area.
Presently there is no way to do this except write line(s0 down on paper and manually enter them in the forum topic.

What does CPU % mean exactly and what does it mean when you get a CPU ratio warning?

Also what does it mean when there is no CPU % for a running task ?

Just installed version 2.5 Color preferences not being carried forward from older version.

What does the color mean that appears in the share % column on the project panel?  It only appears on projects running on my wireless laptop, not on any of the desktops.

In version 1.24, linking to the various projects does not always display the possible links.

EXample:

World Community  works fine.
Aqua@home  shows an thin empty selection box.

Otherwise everything is working that I have tested.

How about a color setting available for task that execeed their completion time? 

Is their some other solution such as automatically aborting them?

A download failed and the WU appeared in the task Panel as a download failure, but it does not appear in the transfer panel.

I can download it, but when it comes to installing it, Norton pegs the file:

setup_boinc_tasks_0_2_2(1).exe as a high risk and removes it from the system before it gets executes.

Any ideas on how to get around it?  I turned off the firewall and added it to the do not scan list to no avail.

I finally solved this by going into Norton and turning off Sonar temporarily.

I can not change the color for GPU running.  All the rest work.  Verion 021.


Thiis works in version 022.

When I am in the display projects screen and right click mouse to look at properties, I get the wrong URL for the project I have selected.  Ex.  Selecting WCG project and look at properties I get Distrrtgen projects URL.  It seems to be random as to what URL it picks to use.  I am running in one window for each computer.

Exiting the BTB and restarting it makes not difference.  Sorting by project or resorting does not make any difference.
