I've a ati mobility radeon hd 4570 card with catalyst 10.4 driver in windows 7,but TThrottle cannot read temperature of it.That's the log:
07 May 2010 - 15:06:13 Driver installed properly. Driver Version: 1.9

Program version: 1.76 32Bit
Microsoft  (build 7600)

Language: User: 2052 CHS ,System: 2052 CHS [TThrottle_CHS.dll]
Amd/Ati: found 1 devices
Amd/Ati: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4500/5100 Series P (0-0)
07 May 2010 - 15:06:13 AdapterInfo: 0-0, Index: 0, No temperature sensor found: -100
Pos: 0, Temperature: 0
what's the reason for it? the card do have temperature sensor and GPU-Z can get it,why?

AMD doesn't provide others with how to read those sensors.
The card has to be overdrive 5 compatible in order to read the sensor.
As this is a mobile card, there is probably no sensor at all, only one on the heat-sink of the motherboard.
GPU-Z comes with a Euro 1000+ price tag. ;D

ATI's introduction say mobility 4500 supports:
ATI PowerPlay™ Technology5
Advanced power management technology for optimal performance and power savings
Performance-on-Demand
Constantly monitors GPU activity, dynamically adjusting clocks and voltage based on user scenario
Clock and memory speed throttling
Voltage switching
Dynamic clock gating
Central thermal management – on-chip sensor monitors GPU temperature and triggers thermal actions as required

what does  "overdrive 5 compatible" mean?

what does  "overdrive 5 compatible" mean?
Compatible with this AMD tool. http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_overdrive.aspx.
If you can read the temps with this tool, I will give it another try.

You're right ???.
I put in a request with the AMD/ATI support team, maybe they know if this card is supported. I hope to get an answer, you never know.

I put in a request with AMD and maybe they can/will tell something more.
But so far it isn't possible.
