As of [23470] + [23471], BOINC starts to "Implement get_cc_config, set_cc_config RPCs".

May we expect to get some "BOINC configuration" dialog box afterwards?

I looked at it more closely and I don't see any why to add it to BoincTasks. What would you want to do with it?

I've not looked close enough at it, but I suppose... to be able to modify cc_config.xml on remotely managed hosts?

That's what it looks like. But to use it you need some sort of xml editor as well.

I tested the function, but seems to be very buggy, not supported in ... version. Looks like its implemented in V 6.13.x .
Worst of all it retrieves all possible settings and logs, so the default settings as well. And some readings are ..... wrong.

So not something I want to implement just now....
