The initialising project has now disappeared  he was only visible on the new graph, nowhere else.

I have "date limite" displayed in days when the option "display in days" is unchecked ("afficher la date limite en jours" = "diplay limit date in days")



and I have "date limite" as a date when I check "display in days"



So (my) logic says it is inverted

I always have that "initialising" project whatever I do, it only appears in that new graph, even if I restart BTJs. And I actually cannot relate to any project, though it seems the logic to select projects is not the same as in the general statistics graph (where the project list is much longer). But it's only a small issue of course, I just wanted to inform. But there is a question about the logic you are using to select the project list.

Regarding the deadline, so you confirm it is working "inverted" and you have to actually untick when you would want to tick the checkbox to have the expected behaviour ? Because this is what is happening for me.

Task graph is cool but I have a "Initialising" project in the list ? (I don't have it in the project list for the rest of the tool)



Project list by itself seems to have reduced a lot in the main window : you have removed like "unused" projects or something ?

Short-time CPU percentage check : what is the difference with the previous behaviour ?

By setting this new option on, I noticed in the settings that the "deadline in days" option ("afficher la date limite en jours") is actually inverted : I have to uncheck it to have days, and check it to have dates. But maybe this has always been like this.

It looks to me the tool is more reactive, but maybe I'm dreaming

Could you look at the disappearing project selector issue ?

Another very strange issue

this distant linux host (VPS) is crunching that :



but BTJs reports this :



with a clear mismatch between projects and tasks running, including "undefined" app names

A few minutes later, the host is still crunching the same thing



but BTJs has changed its mind again



with even more discrepancies and inconsistencies.

I have two other machines (my mac and a linux VM in the mac) managed with BTJs and this does not happen.

Mmm well I just installed BT Js 2.4.1 on my mac and surprise, the project selector is empty, no more project list.



I looked into the menus and options but couldn't find any - and in my memory there was one ?

This project selector is very convenient, in particular to use the historical tab - which is for me one the main pros of BT, together with the multi-computer management.

Great job you keep updating that software, the Js version is definitively doing the job on Mac, I use it all the time.

I did a (small/certainly not big enough) donation, keep up the good work !

I realize there is a BT Js v2 \o/ and even a v2.2 \o/ so I give a try on my iMac Intel (late 2020) with macOS Sonoma 14.0 (23A344), it looks nice BUT the task tab is desperately empty



All the other tabs are working fine, just tasks. Somehow the more important one, isn't it ?

EDITH : Oh well I just found out the use of the "display" menu, you have to choose CPU / GPU / nci tasks ! nice maybe it could be cool that these are selected by default after installation ?

What are those strange gray bars (vertical and horizontal) for ? They somehow move automatically depending on the number of tasks but I can't select them / move them, is it a display bug ?


EDIT2 : mmm so these grey bars are actually the vertical scroll bar for the project list on the left, and the horizontal scroll bar for the columns : it is moving vertically depending on the number of tasks... quite weird. "Working", but weird : I use the vertical scroll from the mouse or click the bar and move it, but for the horizontal bar only the scroll from the mouse is working, I can't click / move the bar with the mouse.

Just for information, on that version when I edit boinc preferences I can still the strange "invalid number : 0.500000" red message displayed (see my message above early 2021 it is the same but with another value) but everything is working fine

1 strange thing only : ithena project has been renamed into ithena.measurements some time ago : I have both as separate projects in the list, ithena with the stats and graphs and ithena.measurements all blank with no data.

ithena.computational (another brother project) has its graphs / stats OK, and all the other projetcs are ok too.
