Hmm, I have a problem explaining.

1) Task 1 is running and is logged as running, you don't see it but the task is in the history log.
2) Task 1 is uploading and is logged as uploading. At this point the status of the task is stored.
3) Task 1 is ready to report and is logged as completed. If the tasks was not seen in step 2) the status of the task is stored.
4) Task 1 is reported and removed, it's no longer there. The task is recorded as missing = reported.

1) Tasks 1 is running etc.
2) Not seen
3) Not seen
4) Task 1 is gone without BT seeing step 2 or 3. This means no status (error or ok), and this tasks gets the status missed.

If a loose translation to German will help you (as I do not have BT at hand to see the exactly used German terms), then it means something like:
Historie: Zustand verloren, zustand ist von läuft zum weg/fort (über)gegangen.

I know.

The rules are an evolving thing. And may change....
Show logging, will show the log (help -> show log rules).
So when a rule becomes active the log will be shown. BT will be visible as well.
