Many thanks for fixing the 'right click in blank area of views'. In doing so, I see an undocumented feature:

- With a line already highlighted, right clicking in a blank area opens up the same menu that would be displayed if you had right clicked on that line.

NOTE: This behaviour is only seen if a line has been highlighted. Otherwise, right clicking on a blank space does nothing.

A leftover, the right mouse used NOT to select the item, if there was an item already selected. Doesn't do much harm.

Agreed.

Another undocumented feature (although easy to spot) is the fact that it is now easier to 'un-filter' 'Ready to start' (if you have them filtered) and vice versa.

I only recently started to use the filter feature and the ability to switch by simply double-clicking makes micromanagement a few clicks easier. I like this a lot!!

I have some issues with BT 1.16 . It reset boinc preferences for upload speed, download speed and download cap after some time on its own to 1,1,1 etc and write to disk after to 3 seconds .
I tried this on windows 7 64 bit sp1 and ubuntu 11.04 32 bit. Behaviour is same. :o

Update: I observed that this happens when the network setting connect after xx days is altered.

Do you have anything filled in at the computers tab, in columns Days work and Wanted tasks?

It is better in 1.18 but still you get chance of resetting values of processor usage to 100%,network upload, download speed to 0.0 etc. I get this on both win 7 sp1 and ubuntu 11.4, on win 7 machine it is set for 2 days work or 80 tasks and ubuntu set for 1 day or 20 tasks in the computers tab.

Is there any way to reproduce it? Is there any pattern, because I can't reproduce it.

It comes up in random.May be linked with changing tasks/days in computer tab.Yesterday after posting above message I restarted my windows 7 and within 10-15 minutes this happened.
After that within a few minutes it happened on Linux Ubuntu 11.4 virtualbox which is also running 1.18 32 bit with wine.
Also,I will like to ask that why installer installs only 32 bit in wine whereas wine documentation says it will install 64-bit program if OS is 64 bit.I am running ubuntu 64 bit in virtualbox.

Yes,It has something to do with no. of tasks/days in computer tab.I just changed this on my Windows virual PC running windows XP sp3 32 bit and after some time the processor usage,% time processor usage was at 100 %,network upload, download rate was 0.0 and transfer cap was 0.0 and days work on network tab of boinc preferences was also 0.

Hope this can help.

Can you remove the tasks/days and see if the problem goes away.
The installer detects a 32 bit system and installs the 32 bit version. The system may be 64 bit but Wine as far as I know is 32 bit, so Windows is 32 bit.

The first time I removed BT crashed. However problem goes away after restart. Then I put the values as 1 and 1 and the problem comes back.

As regards wine64

Note that Wine for 64-bit actually runs in 32-bit mode.

I finally found it and it should be fixed in 1.19.

I admin about 140 computers.  The sidebar computer selection is nearly unusable:  it's too narrow and can't be adjusted to make wider, and the computers create multiple columns rather than vertical scrolling.  The columns aren't wide enough to show the full computer name (usually 20 - 30 characters) and they're so close that one name runs into the name in the next column.

I suppose when it is docked? There is one workaround for this: undock the sidebar, make its window sufficiently wide and dock it again - it will keep the width.
